SHATTER YOUR DREAMS

Fraud is a global phenomenon, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is no exception. In the past few years, the Kingdom has experienced a rise in cases of financial fraud. Recent statistics suggest that in 2020, fraudulent transactions rose by 14%. The ministry believes that the pandemic and increased financial strain has resulted in more Saudis engaging in fraudulent activities. Additionally, the rapid adoption of digital and online services has also enabled more opportunities for fraudulent activity.

RATIONALE

This type of financial fraud can be devastating, particularly for vulnerable people who don't have much financial or educational resources to begin with. Victims often end up losing whatever money they had saved in pursuit of a better life. In some cases, the emotional trauma can be just as damaging as the financial consequences. By preying on the hopes and dreams of vulnerable people, fraudsters have the ability TO BREAK THEIR DREAMS and leave victims with no hope of achieving their goals. In this campaign we are literally breaking dreams and showcasing the devastating effects of sharing personal or banking information with untrusted entities.

INSIGHT

Frauds come in many forms, from promises of economic prosperity or an educational opportunity to scams that target vulnerable people. These individuals can be taken advantage of with false prVomises, buying a home or getting an investment opportunity. Whatever the case, fraudsters often prey upon the emotions and hopes of their victims. They use a variety of tactics to create a sense of urgency or trust, often leading to victims willingly giving away large sums of money or sacrificing valuable personal information.
